Sgt Kelli Mays You have hit upon a really infuriating subject for me.I absolutely hate a thief .Taking something from someone else has no excuses,it wasn't earned and shows an absolute lack of respect for anyone and their property.Sorry, if i rant.

Sgt Kelli Mays - I was raised to respect others and their property. We left doors unlocked ,hunting and fishing equipment in our boats and the back of our vehicles without a thought of anything being stolen, now you can't leave your boat or vehicle unattended without fear of something being stolen.I know there have always been thieves, but it just seems that there were fewer in past generations.

Sgt Kelli Mays My uncle had a truck that he put half a million miles on, through 3 engines and 2 trannies. He always said he'd leave it unlocked, because he never left anything in it worth anything, and he'd rather let thieves find that out without breaking his window. Seemed to work for him.

Almost got broken into during a movie in Pittsburgh many years ago. The crowd leaving the theater must have scared them off since my Blazer was still there, but they had cut the window seal and had a coat hanger hooked around the lock pin on the passenger door. Made me want to go hunting lowlifes.
