Fine.....as long as he realizes he bears ultimate responsibility for all decisions they make. If something goes bad, I don't want to hear him blaming his generals.

It appears President Trump understands that. He's stood by some of his people who have made mistakes and protected them. That being said sometimes when someone makes a mistake they have to take responsibility for it and leave, but they don't have to have their head handed to them (a lot of people don't understand this difference). In his short time I believe President Trump has shown us he understands that, we'll see if he keeps it us I the future.

When it comes down to it is our job as the people to hold Trump responsible. I believe we will. I also think this is why many Presidents like micromanaging these things.

We've needed a non-politician working as President for a long time now. As I've said in the past: I didn't really like President Trump in the beginning but he's making a believer out of me. He's making good difficult choices based on what's best for the country not just for the military, but for the VA, reforming health insurance... and everything else. We have so many special interest groups that no one policy is going to make everyone happy, that's why in our country's the power is supposed to rest with the States, not the Federal Government, President Trump gets that, and seems to strike a healthy balance between what the Federal and State needs to be doing. Too many people in our country just don't know how our government is supposed to work, or were never taught properly.
