Lost a kidney attributed to the CamLej situation and am drawing from the VA for "residual effects" (remember that! When they take the cancerous kidney out, it's no longer a problem; so if your claim is for "cancer of the kidney" it gets turned down). When you get into the neurological effects, there are so many similarities between the water and Agent Orange, it's hard to know which one got you.
Tried to substitute scotch for the water as much as I could while I was there, but I guess the ice cubes caused the problem.
Recommend getting VA care as much as possible since the two civilian neurologists I've seen were totally ignorant of the situation.
Don't consider myself an expert, but would be more than happy to share my experience with anyone going through possible problems with it.

Thank you my friend SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint for making us aware that you recently found the Camp Lejeune Toxic Water Survivors on Facebook
AS we age, those who survive, tend to be wiser. :-)
Thanks for alerting me, my friend SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL
