MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi - That’s a mighty big piece of territory to mark right?
The Russians, Chinese, or Japanese are going to need to land in the exact same place to use that p*****g post.

Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that January 20 is the anniversary of the birth of American engineer and former astronaut Buzz Aldrin who was born under the name Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr. and he was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11 that landed on the moon on July 21, 1969 (Zulu time or UTC), he was one of the first two humans to land on the Moon, and the second person to walk on it.
He set foot on the Moon at 03:15:16 on July 21, 1969 (UTC), following mission commander Neil Armstrong.
Background on UT Started in 1884
Universal Time (UT) was created at the International Meridian Conference in 1884. This is the basis for the 24-hour time zone system we know today.
At the time, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) was chosen as the world’s time standard. The reference line or starting point, the Prime Meridian, was determined to be the transit circle at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London. The transit circle is a part of the telescope's mechanics and it is still cited as the prime meridian's original reference (0° longitude).

Happy Birthday Buzz Aldrin with many happy returns!
The Moon Landing - Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin 1969
"The human race has had a total of twelve people walk on the Moon. This was accomplished with two US pilot-astronauts flying a Lunar Module on each of six NASA missions across a 41-month time span starting over four decades ago on July 20, 1969, with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on Apollo 11"
