One of my uncles was a Huey mechanic/door gunner in Vietnam. He never talked about it except to tell me to join the AF. Mad respect to all y'all that did it.

TSgt David L. Love that phrase, "EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON". You are sooooo right.

Welcome home Brother. I flew some missions out of An Khe with the 1st Cav. '65-'66 . Loved fighting with those guys, always felt like we were a close family. God Bless and may HE keep you safe and sound. Also, know what you went through as I went down in Laos but our lives were saved by expert Navy bombers who killed everyone around us until we were able to get out of that hell hole. You have my recognition and salute because I know what you went through and I know you can never forget those nightmares.
