If ISIS begins targeting people at shopping malls, it doesn't mean the US stops its economy. If it targets children at school, it doesn't mean we cease to educate our children.

The United States will always have enemies. The answer is not to change our lifestyle. We must go about our life, mitigate this risk, and take the fight to the enemy as much as we can, so we can be as safe as possible at home.

LTC Yinon Weiss Sir, great points on the need to drive on.
I laid out a few things I keep in mind for my own personal mitigation of threat on this thread here:

What does the rest of RP think/do to protect themselves?

We all need to continue to be vigilant, however it doesn't mean we need to stop living. I am waiting so see the analysis on the operational reach ISIS actually has to begin targeting folks here in the US. I have confidence the FBI and our Intelligence community is doing everything they can to detect and deter this threat.

I say don't change a thing. Situational awareness is a must as is being armed. So I say "BRING IT".
