Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that April 8 is the anniversary of the birth of professional baseball player in Major League Baseball James Augustus Hunter who was a pitcher for the Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics, and New York Yankees.
Rest in peace Catfish Hunter!

During the mid 60's got to watch him pitch on the game of the week! I never got to see him pitch in a live game!! Being a Yankee fan for many year I watched him pitch in those World Series games!!

I got to see Blue when he pitched for the Giants? Guidry, and Righetti all pitch in Oakland when the Yankees came to the Coliseum!! They were fire ballers for sure!!
