Man this is making me feel old - I can remember the 1st day I took a ride in a Blackhawk - looking around and thinking how "fast rope - sounded like a slow death". Things I liked - twin engine, unobstructed view through a big cabin at the big doors and the door gunner position moved out of door. I did like the Huey and roping off the skids however change is a constant.

I can't believe it is referred to as an old aircraft. I remember looking up front at the cockpit displays - looked pretty fancy to me. And when they'd lift off, sometimes it seemed like the ground just zoomed down below.
