I think it comes down to setting a standards and sticking to them, then it comes down to leadership to supoort and help RC and NG Soldiers maintain the standards. It will always be a challenge for our civilian soldiers and service members. Just my 2 cents on the issue CPT (Join to see) - I'm just as interested as yourself in seeing the outcome.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs thanks for the reply sir. My main concern was related to fitness equipment and training opportunity. The ACFT requires very specific equipment that not all gyms have available and that not all soldiers have access to. Additionally, the two day reserve training schedule is already very limited with time sensitive items.

I trust my NCOs to make it happen but I'm very curious...

CPT (Join to see) - All great problems for great leaders to solve. Keeping up with Big Army and the Standards has always been a challenge for the RC and NG, but they've found a way to meet and sometimes surpass the standards. I;ve witnessed it firsthand my friend. Inoovative leadership at your very level will solve this issue as well. Stay with it Kyle and make it happen! Remember, your NCO's can get the job done with your support and resourcing as well.

I think that is a good thing. Let's not set the Army or the individual up for failure - meet and pass the requirements right up front CW5 Jack Cardwell
