Sad to see a man who had a distinguished military career fall into the cesspool of Washington politics at its worst. Seems to be doing the right thing now.

Seems far too often in the Cesspool Washington has become even some good people have fallen. The bottom line is events that can be verified it better to come clean than later have them arise and prove that statements You made were false. With all the Washington Witch hunting and dirt throwing politics is a very dirty business. Sometime there are events You can't talk about if in sensitive areas that no one will verify You were authorized but only out of sight and no one will back it up. I don't know all the details in Michael Flynn's case but maybe His cooperation can help clean up some of mess and put things back on track.
