This needs to be limited to junior officers and enlisted. Senior Officers have this already. They pick up the phones and call their assignment officer and ask what is available. In other cases a senior officer will call the assignment officer and ask for an officer by name. All senior officers and Senior Enlisted know their assignment officer by name. The Navy as been publishing detailers names and phone numbers for years now.
