We need to completely shutdown our borders and save some social programs for our veterans. As selfish as that statement may seem you take care of your family first and then help your neighbors!

That isn’t a solution in my eyes. By shutting down our borders we might deny that one individual that cures cancer or something like that. We can provide services to both. It doesn’t need to be an either or thing.

As a veteran, I,can attest that after one’s military career ends whether it is by choice ornot, you are not gifted with a house with all the bells and whistles. This isnot to say this is why they are veterans homeless. Rather, to share that afterserving your country home ownership is not a guarantee.
