Having PTSD is hard enough, but being homeless must be very difficult. I assume it will suck the life out of someone. Several decades ago, a suburban housewife decided to be homeless for a month. She came out of that self experiment with acute mental problems.

We need to completely shutdown our borders and save some social programs for our veterans. As selfish as that statement may seem you take care of your family first and then help your neighbors!

That isn’t a solution in my eyes. By shutting down our borders we might deny that one individual that cures cancer or something like that. We can provide services to both. It doesn’t need to be an either or thing.
