Good Tuesday Morning Maj William W. 'Bill' Price!!!
When one spends just a few moments taking in the vast number of stars, large and small, points of light, clusters of matter, it makes one seem so infinitely small in comparison... Many of these spots of light, stars if you will, have solar systems of some ilk...solar systems with, perhaps, a planet like our Earth...positioned within that systems "Goldilocks" Zone, making it possible for there to be life!
Life that may or may not be exactly like our own, but life... It is sometimes difficult for us to imagine the vastness of space...the millions of light years or even parsecs (~3.26 light years to a parsec). ...but it is all out there and this phenomenal image only tends to diagrammatically pull us out into this vastness of space, if only in our minds eye... We have only to set our minds loose and visualize!
Have a wonderful Tuesday and thank you for this Post, Bill!!!
