Most of you probably know about the VA Extending Agent Orange Presumption to 'Blue Water Navy' Veterans...but just in case there are some Vietnam Navy Veterans out there who haven't read the news as yet, I post it here for your edification! If you think you are a eligible, please see or contact your local DAV Office, ask to be put in contact with a National Service Officer (NSO), who can help you file your claim and get it through the system...

I am sure that they want to make sure they have everything ready when the claims come in... One of my friends from the age of six, entered the Naval Academy just after high school in 1960 and eventually became a river patrol boat captain in the Mekong Delta... He now has Parkinson's disease from all the Agent Orange He ingested during his tour of duty in Vietnam... He is being treated by the VA in Providence, RI, but He is in rough shape and it is getting worse...ergo my concern and interest...
