What I don't like about this is this is Chicken crap. If you are going to vote, either side Dem or Repub doesn't matter, have the cajones to step up and say that you did. That is one thing my father and my grandfather drilled into me. Accountability for your actions. Stand your ground for what YOU think is right and then stand up and be counted. This secret ballot mess is for the birds. I would respect any politician on either side if they just stood up and said yes...I did that and let the chips fall where they may.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Since juries have to be unanimous, what is the point of polling a jury? Do they think jurors are going to sit by and do nothing if the verdict is read incorrectly, but they will suddenly have the moral courage to speak up if they have to say "guilty?"

You remain silent on the legislators having a secret ballot and avoiding accountability with their Constituents.

Maj John Bell - I've already stated that I believed that there were sufficient reasons to do so and what those reasons are.

Capt Gregory Prickett - And what is the bar that allows secrecy? "the President may get mad at me." So I want secret ballots on budget votes, on naming post offices, and on gun rights? Come on!!!!

Thats the entire problem, politicians worrying about backlash rather than their constituents.

Maj John Bell No, not true hanging, but certainly believe Trump thinks he can hang their political careers out to dry if they vote against him.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - If he is not removed from office..., how? Senators are elected by their constituents. Furthermore much of the established RNC elite wouldn't shed a tear if President Trump disappeared from the political stage.

And

If he is removed from office..., how? Much of the RNC elite only defer to him because he is the presumptive RNC candidate. Remove him from office and bar him from holding elected office; his political clout evaporates.

SSG Matthew Adkins Because they want to replace their incumbent doesn't mean they will, that will be determined by the district's constituents. Should they not get the representation they deserve.

Maj John Bell - easy, his ability to speak and to gain air time to rile up his base would survive his removal.

They shouldn't be afraid of voting their conscience, because if they vote him out there's nothing he can do to them. The voters are another situation.
