How NASA Will Protect Astronauts From Space Radiation

Earlier today, I shared a post titled "How bad is the Radiation on Mars" and I received a number of comments on that topic... Accordingly, I believe it is necessary for all of us to understand radiation exposure from the Sun and how the Earth protects us, but astronauts on a trip to the Moon or to Mars will have to deal with the hugely negative effects of radiation. I should also mention that there is another source of Radiation bombarding us and that is Galactic radiation that can affect humans in space, which is sparse in comparison to the Sun, but include heavier elements than does Our Sun.

This relatively short Video will explain in more detail what our Astronauts will have to deal with in a manned mission to the surface of the Moon and even more so on a journey to the Planet Mars and return... I plan to share with you a short series on Sun and Galactic radiation so you will all better understand the radiation hazard to humans in space...
