LTC Greg Henning Sad State of Affairs.

As a former Scout, Eagle Scout, and current Cubmaster and Scoutmaster...this worries me greatly. Everyone knows the bad stories; the abuse, the controversy...few know the many good stories. More than any other influence outside my home, Scouting propelled me into my future career, life, and identity. I have kids in our Pack and Troop who desperately NEED the Scouting program; many of whom will find it difficult to bear the 80% increase in fees, and astronomical increases in the basic costs associated with the financial impacts of these disgraces. Furthermore, chartering organizations, adult volunteers, and families are being asked to meet ridiculous administrative standards just to maintain their BSA units...it's a running fight folks.
