It is nearing the Noon Hour here on the East Coast and I, for one, had an emotional moment earlier this morning as I reflected on the divisiveness of today's American Society... We are politically divided in half, so it seems, and have forgotten our roots, forgotten what it is like to be United...divided by those who would destroy us, divided by those who would protect us and who continues to try and bring us together...
What we all need is a trip back to our ROOTS, our beginning as a Nation and what brought us to create the United States of America... In many circles we have lost the reverence to God, we strike to change freedom for political dominance, to become a Globalist society led by one very large governing body with total power... That is not who we are as a People or as a Nation.
It is because of that sentiment that I posted some very patriotic songs, which we all love... We must come together in one voice to cast off this divided way of life and come back to our ROOTS, to embrace Freedom, to embrace God, and to fight back against those who would destroy us...

Sgt (Join to see) - Amen! Their is still untapped greatness in our nation. As we approach 250 yrs of the struggle to truly be free we cannot forget we are a special nation on a journey to form "...a more perfect nation...."
People forget that we are not ONLY a nation of LAWS (as imperfect as some are), but a nation of MERCY and KINDNESS when we are able to share our fears and hopes. We , as a people, have worked to overcome slavery, give the women the right to vote, worked to protect child and the disabled.
This crisis is an opportunity. It is a moment in time when fear is NOT an OPTION, rather it motivation to push past that fear and be of service!
I agree with your commentary "...In some ways we have become our own worst enemy...." Political correctness has done more damage that many know.
We are still "America the Beautiful" if we cal only allow that beauty to shine through. Two songs speak to the the the very nature that is in my thoughts today of a warming and a prayer of hope:
