The people who like them, like them for their own reasons, regardless of what he thinks. I have my sights on a SIG P320 Compact in .357 SIG. I am an old .357 Magnum shooter, and I would like to have that performance in an auto-loader.

They can say what they want but I always found the .357 Magnum round a LOT more effective than 9,mm, 10mm or 40 caliber for immediate stopping power and never needed a 2nd shot with the Magnum to finish a job. Actually putting down injured animals while on the Police Department I saw the results firsthand. After a change from the .357 Magnum to the 40 caliber as standard issue on our Department I wasn't too impressed with its stopping power as compared to a Magnum round.
