Another example of the hypocrisy of evangelical fundamentalist Christians. Norma McCorvey, the "Jane Roe" of Roe v. Wade, made hundreds and thousands of appearances claiming to be a born-again Christian who now regretted her part in the abortion case.
It was a lie. Just before she died in 2017, she revealed that she never changed her mind, but anti-abortion groups paid her money to switch positions and make appearances against future abortions.
"I took their money and they'd put me out in front of the cameras and tell me what to say. That's what I'd say. It was all an act. I did it well too. I am a good actress," said McCorvey.
An evangelical preacher, Robert Schenck, confirmed that McCorvey was paid close to $500K to lie about her position.

There are people out there willing to do anything to push their position and those with "flexible" enough morals to help them do it for $$$. On this issue and on just about every issue you can think of.
