I expect that you appreciate the beauty of God’s creation which many refer to as nature through sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. No doubt you recognize that Adam and Eve had a sinless nature. Through no fault of our own we were born with a sinful nature. By God’s grace HE justified us at salvation and nature of our soul is now sinless in HIS judgement Nancy.
I pray that you and I demonstrate respect for each person we interact with and that we show respect for each aspect of God’s creation. I pray LORD that YOU empower each one of us to be responsible in all things, my sister-in-Christ SPC Nancy Greene.
LORD, I pray YOU open the eyes of governors and mayors who are allowing protestors to violate the so-called social distancing requirements and that YOU bring conviction to each one who refuses to allow law-abiding citizens to gather together an outdoor recreation, to shop, to get hair cuts and salon service, etc. I pray that YOU protect the families who are law abiding. Do what it takes to shake up looters and confine YOUR judgement to those violent offenders.
LORD, I pray for the peaceful people of Minneapolis, the National Guard service members deployed to restore order there, and honest and trustworthy state and city police force members to YOU. I pray that YOU bless each one with peace and that YOU motivate neighbors to help each other restore, repair, and refurbish property and neighborhoods which have been impacted by the violent protestations and looting.
I lift YOUR adopted sons and daughters who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic to YOU. I pray that YOU bless each one with ability to sleep well on their breaks and YOU strengthen their family and friendship relationships. I pray that YOU protect each one from infection and transmitting infection inadvertently.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs
We've been talking about the impact of different things on our mental health. Nature is one that can have a massive positive impact. Unfortunately, during this quarantine many people have found themselves without access to "green space" outdoors. As soon as you can, I recommend being out in nature for at least some space of time. In the meantime, VR and videos of nature can be helpful as well. I know that I breathe differently when I am out in the woods than when I am in the city. I feel myself relaxing and my spirit lifts. What do you feel when you walk in nature?
