Warrant Officer confuses unit by showing up for PT

I remember when we were working in the motorpool at Ft. Hood, getting ready for our deployment and some "guy" with a Officer bar but a long black line going down the middle walked up to a bunch of privates and one of our SPCs. With a relaxed manner and a coffee mug, He talked to us about our Avengers and joked with us about the Army and then walked off. I assumed he was just a Chaplain or a new type of LT, until my PSG came up and told us that he was a WO5 (something I had never heard of before) and nonchalantly said oh yeah that's just Chief "", you will see him from time to time, and I never saw him again

That does get everyone confused!

The reason you don't see CW5's is that they are INVISIBLE to mear mortals, by choice and intent. If you saw them every day they would lose their mystic. Those that have laid eyes on such a person are blessed. ;)
