Good morning Col Burroughs. Important topic. As a counselor I know the importance of setting boundaries. If you don't, your personal space is violated, you lose the ability to control yourself and you get "overrun" by others. Setting boundaries is required for healthy functioning and to set an example for others. Even those who are closest to each other should not submerge themselves in someone else but remain independent but loving and supporting partners.

I expect that you are aware that the LORD Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament Law and Prophets through HIS life on earth, HIS scouring and crucifixion and resurrection. The Bible is focused on what we should do. By God’s grace, the Holy Spirit restrains the evil one in accordance with God’s perfect plan. HE allows a certain amount of evil activity to take place even while HE sets boundaries around humanity. ‘Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true) and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord’ [Ephesians 5: 8b-10 ESV] Jack.
I pray that you pay attention to the prompting of the Holy Spirit and quickly respond in agreement with HIS guidance. I pray that we demonstrate faith in the LORD especially to those we love and that we remember to 'look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil [Ephesians 5:15-16 ESV], my brother-in-Christ CW5 Jack Cardwell.
I pray LORD that each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer understands and heeds the admonition of the LORD 'But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. ... But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.' [Galatians 5:16, 18-23 ESV]
I lift the elected leaders, legislators, appointed officials, and judges throughout the USA, as well as Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Central and South America to YOU LORD. I pray that they each respect the boundaries of their responsibilities, the boundaries of their established borders, and the rights of those who live and/or work within their jurisdiction.
I pray that the leaders and government agencies of Russia and China will be forced to respect the international boundaries at their borders; that China will respect India’s sovereignty; and that Israel’s neighbors will respect the right of Israelis to live and thrive in Israel.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Friday night and shall awake healthy on Saturday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
