Introverted submariners are like, "You mean other people leave their rooms? I hadn't even noticed this whole COVID thing."

If I was China, I would continue to show imperial designs in the South China Sea to force the US to commit a tremendous amount of naval assets in that region.

I fear our "New Sailors" may not have what it takes to actually go to sea and fight a war. We no longer have Reagan's 300 Ship Navy (thank you liberals) with plenty of Carriers Cruisers and Destroyers. We barely have enough to cover the worlds oceans, and with ships getting knocked out of commission cause of a virus, it's even worse. Our boys and girls cannot hack the long time at sea, they need to feel sand beneath their toes so they can go suck down some suds or something. What if they had to spend a month or two on the line just to pull back for an unrep or vertrep and then get back on the line because there were no ships to relive them cause the crews were knocked out due to CORONA 21? I remember that one smuck that refused to accept his orders for Sea Duty because he only joined the navy so he could go to College on the Governments dime, and there was the female 2nd class that cried discrimination when she was given orders to a ship, She had been in for 4 years of a 6 year enlistment and accepted her schooling and first assignment to a shore billet, but she refused a sea rotation. She got her wish no Sea Duty, but I do not think she was happy with the Discharge other than Honorable on her DD-214. There are times when I wish the NAVY still had Flogging and Keel Hauling. Hanging from the highest Yardarm always pissed off the Sail makers for obvious reasons.
