MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - This is one hell of a good movie about British POWs in a Japanese camp. The main character and the man at the :19 mark were fellow POWs and both are haunted by their experiences. The man at the :19 mark hangs himself. The main character decides to go to Burma to find peace. The ending is very profound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbS_dYEwf2M

MAJ Ken Landgren - The reason I never met my uncle was that while visiting my parents at their home in LA in late '45 after his return to the states, he flipped over his dinner plate, saw it had been made in Japan beore the war, and startede breaking all the dishes, etc. My mom told him to get ot and not come back until he could act civilized.

He woud up moving to Chicago and died there in 2003. . . .
