I see it here in Fairfax. We have sacrificed our children's education and they are now a year behind. When will it stop?

Lt Col Charlie Brown Good question, there is talk about starting next school year in the pandemic mode. The damage of three school years of on line learning will last a long time. The teaching staff is struggling to maintain mental and physical health. This tempo is similar to a deployment and most teachers are not wired for this new level of stress.

I have been doing this since school started. I am burned out and ready to retire. I can retire next year.

SGT (Join to see) I joke with other teachers saying I rather be deployed dogging mortar and rocket rounds than teaching this year. I to can retire next year. Keep the faith brother!

One of the dominos to fall with an economic shut down. The leadership saw that the 2nd and 3rd order effects would impact, but others think only in two-dimensions or linearly.

CSM Chuck Stafford March 13th (Friday) the governor of PA closed all schools with no ability to plan for this total closure. This was an epic failure for the students in our school district and we did the best we could with what resources we had. Those not in the classroom lack the perspective of is currently occurring. This is an Asymmetric Warfare in education with flintlock muskets.
