I still have my hopped up 1911A1's but over the course of time and carelessness I have lost digits on both hands. I now carry a Browning 1911A1 380 Black Label {4 IN}. The ammunition I use in it is Buffalo Bore 80 grain {+p} jacketed Hollow Point. For me, it's perfect for any occasion.

CPT Lawrence Cable
SGT (Join to see) it's my standard carry piece. Suitable for what I assume will be the level of threat, lethal enough at ranges confrontation will likely occur and handy enough that I carry it. I would recommend a LCP II. It corrected the things I don't like about the original.

Don't know what happened to my comment but it was suppose to have said that I carry this Springfield XDE in .45acp and that I added a set of Trijicon HD night sights and a set of Hogue slip on grips
