362nd Fighter Group P-47 Thunderbolts over Germany in Color -- New Edition

This was filmed in actual color film. 16mm movie cameras were installed in the cockpit as well as in and under the wings.

The P-47 Thunderbolts had a mission to seek and destroy German planes and any military target. This was in early 1945 and Germany's air force was nearly non-functional. Only a few airplanes or Jet fighters were left to defend Germany.

This real combat footage actually shows how these pilots would go on the hunt until Germany surrendered in May of 1945. VE-Day means Victory in Europe over the Nazis.
