Yep....I was doing the elliptical for a minute. I did see a change in my calfs but nothing else. I changed my routine, got a diff program, changed my diet and I've already lost 4 pounds since last week. I also increased my water intake by 50% so I get a gallon or more/day.
My program wants me to not do cardio for the first 4 weeks of the program (currently on week 2). Kinda broke that yesterday but I did it as a HIIT aspect (plus having a thermogenic in your system, it really boosts your energy so I had to burn it off). I did 1 min sprints @ 7.0mph with a .5% incline on the treadmill with a 1-min rest period. Did about 15 minutes of it, including cooldown. Felt pretty good afterwards.
Hopefully within a couple weeks, I'll be able to start the transformation stage and start incorporating more cardio/HIIT time.

I really miss doing cardio, but I know it will come with time. I've started to like strength training. Yeah, I stay sore all the time but I know I can see results. I had someone comment on my back yesterday and what I did to get my back to look the way it does.
I must be doing something right!

Capt Tom Brown - It isn't about jealousy, sir; it's about making something of yourself and doing something that will benefit your life. Those who consider it to be jealousy are either not able to due to injury or just to lazy to do it themselves. Always challenge yourself; it always leads you to a destination.

I workout.....I WORK til i am absolutely OUT of energy. Then I go to bed and get up and do it again....Definite consistency.

The only one I'm "doing wrong" is working out alone. But I've never known anyone that does workouts similar to mine and I don't like dealing with excuses for not going to the gym. I prefer consistency.

I understand that issue quite well - I have the same problem - but I don't see it as a problem! Time for a long bike ride!
