Oleander always makes these lists. Yet, it is ubiquitous around here as a low water use hedge. They are constant flowering, the red flowers spread cinnamon scent over the yard, the white, vanilla.

Poison Ivy is rampant on my property Lt Col Charlie Brown . I had many cases of poison ivy as a child when we lived in Southern Illinois. I got it in my eyes one year. They swelled shut almost every time I went to sleep. It looked like someone beat the crap out of me!

Get or borrow some goats. They are immune to the effects and eat it like it is candy.
