They're not liberals, they're leftists.
And of course they'll decide what "insurrectionist" means so they can decide who goes on the ballot.

There are definitions of insurrection...and sedition...and seditious conspiracy:

Definition of insurrection: a violent uprising against an authority or government.

Definition of sedition: conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.

Definition of seditious conspiracy: If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

SFC (Join to see) - Well, if you're going to use those definitions, any two people who resist arrest for shoplifting are guilty of seditious conspiracy.

They are still stupid enough to try stretching a disorderly demonstration that led to some riotous behavior into an "insurrection", where the only shot fired killed an unarmed woman demonstrator.
They have leaned too far to the left, and fell off the ladder.

"Disorderly demonstration?" Weird since 11 people have been charged with seditious conspiracy for their actions on Jan 6. Doesn't sound like a "disorderly demonstration."

SFC (Join to see) - "Weird since 11 people have been charged with seditious conspiracy for their actions on Jan 6."

What's "weird" is your assumption of guilt before trial, in spite of the invitation by guards for demonstrators to enter the Capitol, the only shot fired was by a government agent to kill an unarmed woman demonstrator, and the growing public realization that the "molehill to mountain" attempt by Democrat-Socialists to manufacture an "insurrection" is the mirror image of the claims that the riots, arson, declaration of an "autonomous zone" etc. was just a "mostly peaceful" protest.

CW3 Harvey K. - Lol so it's innocent until proven guilty as long as YOU agree with them eh?

The fact is they have enough evidence to charge 11 people with sedition. Facts.

There's no definition that says an insurrection has to involve guns. You potato. There definitely was an attempted insurrection. There was an attempt to STOP the certification of the election.

I'm sorry your orange Koolaid riddled brain can't comprehend anything else. Have the day you deserve.

Ah, but THIS "insurrection" did "involve guns". An unarmed woman was shot to death by a government agent, so "potato" yourself.
If "enough evidence to charge" is enough to convict then why bother with a trial? Just a waste of time.
