What a melodious voice--she wraps those lyrics in warmth and sexiness. I saw her in concert at a venue in Lake Tahoe in 1978; she knocked it out of the park. A phenomenal talent!
Wishing her continued prayers and wishes for a recovery from her progressive supranuclear palsy (which forced her to retire).

Thanks for sharing, Charlie!

SMSgt Anil Heendeniya Your welcome Anil. Once again, I had to look up what she has... such a tragic disease. Thanks for making me aware of this... I didn't know.

"Is there a cure for progressive supranuclear palsy?
Progressive supranuclear palsy is also called Steele-Richardson-Olszewski syndrome. Progressive supranuclear palsy worsens over time and can lead to life-threatening complications, such as pneumonia and swallowing problems. There's no cure for progressive supranuclear palsy, so treatment focuses on managing the signs and symptoms."
