Second, every magazine fed, semi-automatic rifle is based on technology that was developed for purposes of war. Would you limit citizens opposing some enemy foreign or domestic to muzzle loaders, single shot breech loaders and revolvers, (all of which were also developed as "weapons of war").

Third I have need of a magazine fed, semi-automatic rifle. Your hubris, as evidenced by "there is zero reason why any civilian needs an AR15," makes it clear you think you know it all. Fact is, you don't know a thing about why I and others need and have a magazine fed, semi-automatic rifle for reasons other than the security of a free state.

Like I said before weapons of war aren’t inherently bad, however acting like an AR-15 isn’t a weapon of war because it fires in semi, the preferred fire rate of war fighting forces, is a weak argument because it only focuses on words not actual functions of firearms. SP5 Renee Reif Good luck in Kentucky. I ran a "Ditch Mitch" campaign. I am ADAMANTLY anti-McConnell. But he has WAY too strong of a base and WAY too strong of name recognition. McConnell is here until he retires, resigns, or dies. Most likely the latter.

I am amused by these Progressives how they believe if you are registered to vote for one party you must support all their politicians. They don't understand the concept of looking at what the person stands for and voting for them regardless of what party they belong to. Maybe someday they will.
