Oleander always makes these lists. Yet, it is ubiquitous around here as a low water use hedge. They are constant flowering, the red flowers spread cinnamon scent over the yard, the white, vanilla.

Poison Ivy is rampant on my property Lt Col Charlie Brown . I had many cases of poison ivy as a child when we lived in Southern Illinois. I got it in my eyes one year. They swelled shut almost every time I went to sleep. It looked like someone beat the crap out of me!

I had some poison Ivy when I was a boy, Charlie, but not serious... It was not fun! I hope not to every have issues with the other 6 deciduous Ivies or other poison plants...

As a kid came into contact with both poison ivy and stinging nettle...very unpleasant!
