Well, why should we be surprised? It's not like we've got a lock on behaving. The military never has. When I was at JYF-GTMO, my BDECDR, my BN CDR, and the BN CDR whose unit secured Camp Delta were all relieved for adultery.

A sad commentary on leadership at the O-5/O-6 level. It certainly is poor advertising for the advisory program.

SGT Jim Arnold Yes, they were. There was a GOMAR express lane at the JTF CDR's office. It wasn't just those three that got the hammer brought down on them.

While we have had discipline problem in the military from the beginning of time, they better start cleaning up their act.

Interesting article. Although this is not Columbia's first leftist leader. Is just their first leftist leader in a while. And China is doing a much better job of buying influence in the region. We need to win influence back. But also spend money heavily in the region. Which we don't do near enough of. Maybe instead of outsourcing jobs to the Pacific region we should start doing that South the border. Don't get me wrong. I don't like outsourcing jobs. We should doing most of that stuff here in the states. But if we're going to put source anyway. We probably should do it south of the board rather than anywhere else. It might also slow down all those people headed north.

Central and South America has always been a tough nut to crack. We need someone who can come up with good policies that will work. Typically, that means no Progressive democrats because they are so poor at policy issues and just believe they can buy themselves out of any problem. It's not that easy.

SFC (Join to see) - I agree. We also need a leader who truly wants to change the Dynamics between the US, Central, and South America. We've long ignored our own region opting to look to/at Europe and other regions. Before looking south. It's way past time we concentrated on our southern hemisphere and fix our neighborhood, so to speak, rather than worry about others.
