APOD: 2022 December 17 - Apollo 17 VIP Site Anaglyph

Good morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the December 17th edition of Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD): "Apollo 17 VIP Site Anaglyph." Today we have another photo to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 17 mission. And its an anaglyph one can actually see without the glasses! Dubbed the "VIP Site." it shows where the lunar rover was parked so that its camera could be turned on the lunar module (Challenger) as it ascended towards its rendezvous with the command module (America) and return home to Earth. Monday marks the successful return of Apollo 17 to Earth fifty years ago. I'll put the original image of today's APOD in a separate comment.
