Oldest WWI Memorial in the U.S. is here at Haskell Indian Nations University. It is not recognized as such due to the Indians not being citizens at the time. It is the stadium arch. You Tube "Keeping Legends Alive".

The men of the Indian nations are, and were, great warriors. I am glad they volunteered to serve even after all the bad things our government did to them in the 19th century.
