Know what else is happening as a corollary effect, the Left is losing part of their voter base. These women are not going to vote for people that want to take their guns away.

Crime Rate is going up, cities a becoming lawless. Despite what the movies show, even a skilled female martial artist will get their ass kicked by 6'2" 240 lb man. A handgun evens up those odds.
I'm 67 and I'm too damn old to go toe to toe with someone that size, so I carry for the same reason.

CPT Lawrence Cable Shoot I'm 6'2" 235 pound old man and I'd only give it about a 1/2 second though. Like my Dad told me when I was a kid "If you have to fight, don't fight fair. Fight to win."
