There was a crash in my area a few weeks ago where the driver was doing over 120 mph, lost control, crossed the grass divide between the Northbound and Southbound lanes, and almost killed a police officer that was at a traffic stop on the other side. I was one of those "Only by the grace of God" moments he didn't kill and officer and the occupants in the other vehicle (amazingly, only minor injures came from it).
