You know what Brother Dale? The way it's written in the Constitution, I don't even know how biden got the nerve to think he was going to get away with it. Actually, after hearing how it is worded, I'm positive he only "tried" to give them a forgiveness program to get their votes.

The way people talk about the constitution, one would think it was written on
recycled s/p, only to be read by certain people. Lets get real people, this is 2023, not 1787. For nigh on 2.5 centuries, people have tried to amend this document, some with failure, while others with success. Let not mention the latest attempt.

I applaud the High Court for its decision. Throughout the years those who have gotten student loans have paid their way. The word "loan" is in the contract, not a "grant" or "scholarship".
My solution to the problem is those who have student loans should work in the "under served" communities and work off their loans. Physicians are especially needed in those communities and that would be one way to pay back what they borrowed. A formulae could be designed that would make it possible for the loan to be worked off in a six to ten year period. And maybe, people will be less likely to look for a free ride for their education. The military is a very good way to pay for your schooling and serve your country at the same time.

Don't go applying kudos to SCOTUS, too soon LTC D. Wayne Gregory, OFS. Some of their recent decisions have been relegated to nothing but partisan politics.
