Thankfully, LCDR Green's remains were recovered in 2008.
From the DPAA website:
On June 20, 2011, the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC, now DPAA) identified the remains of Commander Frank Clifford Green Jr., missing from the Vietnam War.
The folks at DPAA are doing a fantastic job!
