Not surprising given there are fewer of us; people are less likely to find and reach out to this group of veterans. And often they are also parents who have additional responsiblities

Lt Col Charlie Brown so true. Especially considering that for some, it takes time to trust the system. Not so long ago, there was very little support. And sometimes even unwanted consequences to asking.

PO3 Edward Riddle - my heart goes out to you. I cannot imagine the personal cost you paid . It must have been devastating. My only consolation for all of us is that it’s beginning to be okay to talk about it. Please know you have my utmost respect and wishes for peace!

PO3 Edward Riddle My dad was a Marine reservist from 1958 to 1967. Whenever we were out and about, he made sure to tell us that you, and the other vets returning from Vietnam were to be thanked and treated with the utmost respect.
I served with several Vietnam veterans as senior leaders in my units. I held them in reverence, even the low speed one we had. He was at Hamburger Hill and earned that low speed.
I say this with all due respect, "welcome home!".
