308 vs 30-06: The Difference Between .308 Win and 30-06 Sprg

I'm kinda like the guy that wrote this, "If you want my advice, get both!". And a 30-30 also. "Regardless of which rifle cartridge you choose, there’s not a game animal in North America that can tell the difference." 30 cal, what you need, when you need it. As long as there's somebody out there manufacturing ammo, I believe you'll be able to find 30 cal loads.
