I was thinking that also and of a Member of Our American Legion Post who was with US troops under General Patton when the Concentration Camps were liberated. He saw first hand what had been done. It seems even General Patton went behind a US armored vehicle so no one could see Him a threw up with what He saw there. When you consider what He had already seen in battle You can guess how horrible it was. The films and photos that recorded those horrors forever certainly say it all.

The absolute height of complete ignorance ! Tell that to My father who was there for the occupation of Japan after and atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima as saw what it did to remove a city and see people dying from radiation exposure. How about another close friend that even had effects from handling sand at Hiroshima which was radioactive. He sure paid for that even years later from health problems due to that exposure. Another WW II Veteran friend who was there and witnessed the testing of an atomic bomb. How about My actual meeting with Paul Tibbets, Brigadier General, USAF (Ret) as well as His bombardier and Navigator who were aboard the Enola Gay when the bomb was dropped. If that's not enough I worked around nuclear weapons Myself and didn't have to see them used to understand what they were !
