PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Still got problems in the midwest and the northwest and the north east. I Was stationed in PA and I had to remove and PCS one of my African American recruiters because of the hate rhetoric towards him and his family and damage to facilities from the KKK...when I was in OH one hour South of us in Wilmington OH was the HQ for the KKK. Look at the skinhead population...all over the West...I am sick and tired of folks using the same old tired line, like you Jack..."Mississippi, what more needs to be said?" By the way have you looked a the demographics of the Jackson MS PD that has put these bodies in the paupers grave? Over 80% African American...really? Not white on black and racist issues…this is black on black…that is why it is not getting the attention it should…doesn’t meet the race narrative. Look at the attached map and go to the SPLC site attached...lets just compare Fl to MS...MS has 5 known hate groups and locations...now we both know there are more but those are identified and the SPLC does a good job tracking...now let's look at your state FL over 30 known...where I was staioned in PA over 30...CA 38...DC stacked so many they can't even get a count!!! It is not jut MS but MS gets the bad light because of its history but we have made great strides in the state of MS to get past that and have a lot more work to do but we definitely do not have a monopoly on it!!! Look at facts before you thorw a blanket zinger out there!

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth I think what has to be asked is why the media is ignoring this? I think they are for a few reasons. First and foremost, Jackson is a Democrat controlled city. Second is your point as to the racial makeup of the police department. Third, he media is in line what Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen posted. It's Mississippi and the major media centers care nothing about what goes on there.

I will be interested to hear how many of the bodies were there from the Jim Crow era and how many are from after Jackson's PD became majority black.
