That's damn funny!

In my book, libertarianism took a big hit to its philosophy in Oregon. They are all for being able to do all things as long as it didn't hurt anyone else. Measure 110 (this was the removing criminal penalties for scheduled drugs) was a total failure of this theory.

Drugs, especially marijuana, are NOT "victimless crimes." Marijuana is NOT harmless, it leads to robbery, divorce, child abuse and is a gateway to terrible drugs like heroin, meth and fentanyl. Anyone who believes drugs are not involved with violent crime must not be well informed. The drug gangs are merciless and drugs are now probably our leading cause of death. Libertarians are clueless about this.

A funny article, but the nonsense from Allegiance Gold is not. Gold is NOT the answer. I've been a coin collector for 35+ years. How are you going to buy and sell things every day with an 1807 Double Eagle? Every single coin dealer has his or her own exchange rate. They will only give you about 70% of what you pay them for coins. You will NEVER buy a coin for $1000 and get $1400 back, you'll buy a coin for $1000 and only get $600-$700 back. How do you think a coin dealer makes a profit, earning money for his own account, paying rent on an office, buying more coins? He or she gets money by paying less for coins than what he sells them for.
