It happens every election cycle and every election cycle I have to laugh. I have lived most of my life (thank God, I was blissfully unaware of politics during my gestation and infancy) more than seven decades hearing how Democrats are the party of the poor and Republicans are the party of the rich. What a joke! "Dark Money" is spent to influence elections without being donated directly to and spent by candidates. Thus, Dark Money bypasses regulatory systems for recording the names of the donors nor are there any limits of the amounts spent (nor the manner in which it is spent). Explains a lot, doesn't it?

I still believe the Supreme Court got it wrong, money is not speech. In politics particularly, money is the root of evil

Money is power and Power yields money! In my view, there are more Power hungry radicals than there are conservatives, as most conservatives are less interested in money power than radicals... The cycle never stops until radicals suddenly find that there own money power depends on others, not of the same persuasion... then the radicals try to appease the conservatives, through political science, which works only as long as the conservatives don't see through it... Conservatives now see through all the B.S. and are beginning to fight back... Hope it continues... just saying.
