Why Democrats Are Losing My Generation

I'm going to say cyclic. Youth rebel against the ideas of their parents. The Coastal Liberals have had a long run in the halls of power. Middle America, the "Flyover" country, is primarily conservative. There has been an ongoing migration of coastal peoples, that are disenchanted with their state and local government policies, to flyover country. I kind of wish they had stayed put and worked to change the policies they didn't agree with. But can I really complain? My house and property has gone up in value by 4xs in the last 5 years. I can also see it devaluing if the GOP stays in control of the executive and congressional branches. I'm not bothered by that either. The inflation of the value was driven by the liberal policies in a few places, and now it's going to devalue to the place it should really be. I was at Ft Ord when it closed and saw property values drop so bad in the area that many people were underwater on their mortgages. I fear that will happen on a much wider basis now. If you're contemplating a move right now, give it another year.
