I can see the purpose of this law. In certain situations it could be very useful. To date I have only drawn my handgun as a deterrent once. Let’s just say it defused the situation very rapidly and no one was injured. The other party saw their error quite quickly!

Agree, SGT (Join to see). In Tennessee, brandishing is considered aggravated assault.

I agree but there are times when brandishing stops crime. I'd use it very judiciously.
